- My cd recorder wont work with anything else
Dependable storage media. It is the only cd-r that gives me professional results. Wish it would come in bigger cuantities instead of 10s or 25s.

I found these last year at Wal-Mart & thought they would be easy to replace. I had a package of about 50 & when they were finished I went back to Wal-Mart to buy some more. They didn't have any. I thought that I would have to look in Best Buy/ Circut City type stores to find the better quality I searched for. They had less of a selection than Wal-Mart. I then went to Office Depot & Staples which did have the best selections out there, but no Maxell PRO. I bought a competitor's & they are OK, but ... Read More

i just received these cd-r's in the mail. compared them to the tdk audio blanks i had been using, and found that the maxell pro's are almost twice as thick.they are also thicker than commercially bought cd's.
however, i burned one of the maxell pro's last night on my dedicated cd recorder at 1x speed, and there was no problem. it played back faultlessly in both my home cd player and also in my car unit.
although, as i've already mentioned, they have additional thickness, they played perfectly ... Read More

I've only gone through about 6 CDs but so far so good. They are great for backing up data and pictures and such, but the 2 music CDs I made didn't play in my friend's car. Not sure if the stereo system is an older one and can't read it, but if all you're doing is backing up data, go for it!

These Maxell cds came in a great shape. No damage box.I had purchased two of them.They can be hard to find in the stores.I have used them and they have a great quality.I know the price is a great price.I will order them again when I need more of them.I use them for saving my photos.They stay true to the colors and they are very clear.I like the idea also that they have extra protection for nonscratching.This is a very strong decision when I want my photos on the cds to last.
