A good product overall, but didn't like the following things about the product:
1> The charging chord is a little short than my previous Braun Epilator.
2> The charger is a heavy one compared to the one from Braun.
3> The charging chord connects at an uneasy place on the Epilator; this causes the handling of the epilator a little difficult especially if they are on the sensitive areas of the body. We wish the chord was connected like in other Epilators at the rear.

I love this product! Prior to buying the Emjoi AP99 Optima Epilator I was either shaving every day or walking around like a Wooley Mammoth. :O) I have thicker hair on my lower legs and very fine hair on my knees and upper legs. I tried this product a week ago and my hair is still gone! I'm amazed. For the people who are worried that it will hurt, you'll be fine. Trust me, the little annoyance is worth it. Due to the different types of hair I have, I went over my legs at both speeds to get all hairs. ... Read More
Rating: - Quite Satisfied
I like this product. The only con I can honestly admit to is that it takes a little time as opposed to shaving.You may have some hairs that are stubborn and repetition is necessary; however, It lasts longer than shaving and it has a smooth feeling to it.My husband loves it. Also, the hairs grow back thinner so therefore if you are pressing for time you basically wont look like "Wolverine".Try it! I love it.

The epilator heads work well BUT there is a HUGE design flaw: the cord plugs in to the side, not the end of the device, which means you really cannot get a decent grip on it.It works OK for underarms, OK for legs and is TOO CLUMSY for anything more delicate "down there."I love the product line, wore out my former Gold Touch epilator in the course of 8 years and hoped this model would be just as good.The technology is better: the design is DREADFUL.After 4 months of struggling with it I'm looking ... This is a very good product.I used it on my legs when I first recieved it in the mail and the emjoi removed the hair from my legs very nicely.There is a key to helping yourself achieve very smooth legs. That is to progress very slowly in a given skin area until there is no hair left on that patch of skin, then move on to the next area of skin on your leg or wherever you are epilating.
What I want to make clear is that you most certainly will feel persistent pain the first few times of use, ... Read More
