Coffee drinkers have their automatic brewers, why shouldn't tea drinkers? Ideal for family gatherings or summer picnics, this ingenious Hamilton Beach machine brews up a pitcher full of iced tea in less than ten minutes. After the pitcher is filled with ice cubes, tea (either loose or bags) is placed in the special paperless filter, and an adjustment for mild, medium, or strong brewing is selected. The lid snaps on. A receptacle slides out from underneath the heating unit which then holds the pitcher snugly in place. Water is added to the heating unit, the power button pushed, and the hot water drips through the tea filter into the pitcher of ice. When brewing is complete, the power automatically shuts off for safety. Complete directions for use are embossed on the slide-out receptacle, which eliminates worries about losing a user guide. Although the iced tea maker looks bulky when assembled, the pitcher inverts snugly over the heating unit for compact storage. Able to fit in most refrigerator doors, the 2-quart pitcher features a hollow, comfortable handle and a thumb release for the lid, but is not dishwasher-safe. - This is my first ice tea maker but I love it
I bought this based on the other reviews and the price and I have to say i have no complains.it's fast, not messy and the pitcher is a nice large size that fits into small spots in your fridge.It was a great purchase for the summer!
Rating: - Great Iced Tea Maker
As a daily iced tea drinker, I have used Mr. Coffee for years but was very disappointed in the last one I purchased. (pitcher cracks, water spills on counter) The Hamilton Beach tea maker is superior because the water drips over the tea bags into the center of the pitcher. It does not leak from the spout while making the tea. I use it daily and am very pleased.

I've had this tea maker for about a month now and have probably brewed at least 10 pitchers of tea.It works great and I definitely enjoy always having tea around.I recommend buying it.

This tea maker was received and has been used for only the last 4-6 weeks.However, so far, it has worked well. My pattern of use is to brew the tea with the plastic pitcher provided with the tea maker.Once it is done, water is added to the "max ice" marking.Then it is put in the refrigerator which it is used to fill glasses or thermos as needed.It is easy to rinse clean.It has not been put the dishwasher.The tea maker is tall and does not fit my cabinet space resulting it in having to ... I am very pleased with the Hamilton Beach Iced Tea Maker. It has worked flawlessly. The brewed tea has a very good flavor. The process is uncomplicated and the clean up is easy. Overall recommended.
