- Good, but kind of large and old styled
It is kind of bulky and long, but for the price everything I expected. I bought it for a foreign language class online and they teacher never complained that she couldn't hear me or anything. So, I think it served its purpose very well and I have no real complaints except the size.

- Labtec Computer Microphone
Well I pretty much bought this mic because it is cheap.. and i wanted to video chat.Well I can understand why it is cheap cause it barely works.The only way to let the other person hear me is to hold it up to my mouth at least an inch away even then I have to speak louder than usual.But if you are looking for a cheap mic and u dont mind doing that then be my guest.

I was searching for a basic inexpensive (non-USB) microphone for an audio project I'm doing on my PC.
I wasn't willing to spend the $20 to $40 for some other brands and I stumbled on this Labtec in stock from Amazon.I paid less than $10 for the Labtec Verse 534.And since it's from Amazon (not an Amazon partner), and I have Amazon Prime shipping, I didn't have to pay extra for it to arrive in two days.
No complaints. For $10 it's awesome!

I have no mic experience with which to compare, but this mic is fine. It's plug-and-play. One small thing is that I have to be careful with my 's.' I can't seem to avoid that implosive(?) sound that I can't describe. If this allowed audio, I could demonstrate. Anyway, it's good enough for my applications.
