I received a set of the Calphalon Contemporary as a gift and the only thing I felt I was missing was a griddle, so I had to order this one from Amazon.This griddle pan has been wonderful.I use it for everything!Most times, I just wash it and put it right back on the stove since I know I'll be needing it again right away.I can fit 6-8 pieces of bacon on it at a time, 4 pieces of toast, or 4 rather large pancakes.It's a dream come true if you fix breakfast often.It's the best money I've ... Bought this to replace an old 'teflon' coated pan...love this hard non-stick coating... Heavy bottom heats evenly... Very comfortable handle

- Keep Out of dishwasher!!!
I spent several hundred dollars purchasing this and the similar cookware set from Caphalon. Performance is great, however, the black finish on outside of the pots turn gray to white after washing them in dishwasher. I have only had this set for 6 months. I cannot believe that in todays busy day and age, that a cookware company would charge so much for cookware then insist it is "handwash only". Ridiculous!!! They still work fine but have faded to an ugly light gray. Pretty sad for an expensive set ... Read More

I finally ruined my Calphalon griddle from my wedding 8 years ago.I decided to replace it with another Calphalon given how well it stood up over the years.So far, so good.Seems to heat evenly without the sticking...
I couldn't ignore the price, I think my original was twice as much.

Nothing beats a good stack of flapjacks on a Sunday morning. This HEFTY non-stick griddle does the job. With some good common sense preliminaries (i.e. preheating the pan to the correct temperature) and the very important post-cooking "cool down", there's absolutely no reason why some one couldn't get years of service from this griddle. The extra-thick cooking surface will also ensure that one's eggs won't run off into the corner !!
