An added convenience derives from the Delete Program Playback function, which lets listeners delete tracks or discs that they don't want to play without removing the CDs from the magazine.
Additional features include Hi-Lite Scan, which plays roughly 10 seconds from the first track on either one or all the discs; timer playback when connected to an external timer unit; a programmable pause function (useful when recording onto a cassette); a full-function remote control; and system remote in/out jacks. I WAS LOOKING FOR A CD WITH GOOD QUALITY SOUND AND EASE OF OPERATION AND THIS PRODUCT DOES THAT

Excellent product! replaced a older Pioneer 6 disc player that I've had for 25 years. Glad to find this player so I could use all the 6 disc holder that I had from the old unit.

It is a nice unit with very good sound but the disc holder is so flimsy and looks as if it were to fall on the floor it would break into many pieces. Putting in the cd's upside down is very awkward especially unloading them. The timer is only for the length of the song. You cannot see how long the cd plays.No track numbers on the remote . The remote has very difficult black on black readings. What's with these company designers? You must hit the forward button to get to the track. It is replacing ... Read More

I have three of these in my house, and one in my shop/garage.My only complaint is that they don't make an auto CD changer that uses the same magazine.I think at one time, Blauplunkt did make one, but the receiver would not fit any of my vehicles.Guess you have to have a Porsch to use one of them.
I see lots of complaints about the magazine, but in my opinion it is much easier to use than those that require you to pull a "slide" out and try to re-insert it in the correct slots.

I was trying to replace my 24 year old pd-m60.In this case, they don't make them like they use to.The first thing I noticed was that I could hear the cd spinning while standing in front of the player.Next, the front panel was not user friendly.You have to hold down search arrow instead of a numerical key pad.Then I realized it wouldn't take the single play magazine from my pd-m60. I don't know why pioneer bothered, the laser pick-up and sound miight be slightly better, but other wise a total ... Read More
