Power yoga "demands your attention," says instructor Rodney Yee. He leads a challenging, constantly progressing series of poses, one flowing into the next, integrating breath, movement, tension, and relaxation. The poses include Sun Salutation, standing poses, forward bends, back bends, twists, and arm balances. The first poses are fairly easy, and with each repetition of the series, Yee adds on more difficult movements, extending the series without pausing. You're encouraged to do as much of the series that fits your level, up to the entire 65-minute workout if you're an experienced yoga practitioner. Although you can begin at any level, some familiarity with yoga is recommended. The Hawaiian setting is gorgeous and inspiring. This is an excellent yoga workout that you can grow with, adding on more as you get stronger. --Joan Price

- wonderful yoga
Great yoga workout. A good amount of time spent in downward dog pose so if you don't like blood rushing to your head, don't get it. Otherwise, great workout.

- Rodney Yee is truly a yoga genius...
I can not do all of this video as of yet...but even just the first 20 minutes challenge me and make me sweat... I am still about 30 pounds overweight and I need to develop more strength. This video is great for helping me lose weight and build strength.I like the pace of this video...not too fast...not too slow.I have many DVDs by Rodney Yee and I will continue to purchase his videos.
Hey I have some on my wishlist if you wanna buy me one! lol

- Great workout, great instructor
I had been doing Kundalini Yoga for several months and a co-worker suggested I try a Rodney Yee DVD.Boy am I glad I did.The instruction is clear and consise. The movements are slow and challenging. I feel completely stretched and relaxed after completing this workout.I do this one every 3rd day.I combine this workout with Kundalini Yoga w/Raviana and Brian Kest's Power Yoga Series.Combining these workouts and a low-carb diet plan I have successfully lost more than 40 lbs. and changed the ... - Good workout
This is a good longer workout that I use if I'm limited on time but still want a workout that will make me sweat and be good for strength.I recommend it if some of the other power yoga DVDs are a little too fast-paced for you. This is a little easier to follow. One thing to mention, though, get ready for a lot of downward dog.Yee really likes that pose in this video and you'll be spending quite a bit of time in it.

- On the fence
I'll have to use it more to give a better review, but so far I do like it although its very challenging for a beginner like myself.
