- Good Moderate Priced Coffee Grinder
We've been using this grinder for about 6 mos now after having one of those Grind and Brew combo things that we always hated. This grinder grinds the beans evenly and is reasonably quiet. It is easy to fill and to empty. The only negatives are that it takes some guesswork to figure out what setting to put the grinder on. There are just numbers that seem to equate to time that the grinder runs. It keeps running after the hopper is empty unless you turn the dial to zero. One other thing, because it's ... Read More

I'm very happy with this unit. Tried three before it.
Like others wrote, don't turn the timer off manuelly. Let it run out on its own.
Just put in what you want to grind to keep it acturate.( While its still turning a few taps on the back gets most of the grounds out)
It does a nice job of french press coarseness vs a fine grind.

I've been using this fantastic burr grinder for the past 6 months or so. Its ability to control grain size is far and beyond what any spinning-blade grinder can do. I will never again purchase a blade grinder.
As far as flaws go, my unit - and I presume this problem is systemic - tends to vibrate the hopper loose while grinding. Basically, it slowly inches forward since the retention mechanism isn't all that... retentive. With any duration beyond the 3 mark (which is about a half-pot for ... Read More

Overall this is a great grinder.I have never had anything other than a blade grinder in my life but when my 3rd one broke, a friend suggested a burr grinder.I really like the fact that you can store a moderate amount of beans in the hopper (I make ~4-5 cups a day and it lasts ~1 week), there is no mess, and it's much quieter than my blade grinders.
A lot of people were complaining about static and the grounds sticking to the plastic hopper.I haven't experienced this but I have only ... Read More

This product performed as promised.It is easy to use - easy to clean and delivers a grind that when brewed was flavorful with no aftertaste.My husband received this as a birthday present and could not be happier.He does a lot of research before purchasing what he considers to be a major item and he wanted a burr grinder - this one was definitely a hit at our house.
