Product Description:
At 3-1/2 quart capacity, this is a most versatile saucepan. It's also incredibly easy to use and own. Have you ever found yourself in that awkward position of straining cooked food - while cooking? This saucepan incorporates a unique design that integrates a built-in strainer to reduce the fuss and mess of meal preparation. The lid, made of see-through, break resistant glass, has a deep rim with optional straining holes. To strain, line the holes up with the pan's pour spouts and strain with ease. For covered cooking, rotate the lid to close the holes and moisture will stay inside the pan. To pour, remove the lid and use the pour spouts that are built into the pan body. Regardless of these convenient features, you've got a pan made of even heating hard anodized for great cooking performance plus a rugged nonstick surface inside and out for stress-free cleaning.

Features:
  • 3-1/2-quart saucepan with integrated straining features; 2-ply nonstick coating
  • Heavy-gauge anodized aluminum construction for rapid and even heating
  • 18/10 stainless-steel handles covered with silicone for a strong, slip-free hold
  • Glass straining lid adjusts for large and small foods; turns to lock in steam
  • Oven-safe up to 400 degrees F; limited lifetime warranty; hand wash

My one complaint is that the insulating grip is flush with the (hot) metal part of the handle closest to the pot. Because of this, there's a likelihood for skin-metal ... Read More

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - very good pan
I bought this pan to cook candy because it is tall and narrower by at least an inch than All Clad. This allows the bulb of the thermometer to be under the liquid. The pan performed very well and its being non-stick is great for candy making.I agree with a previous reviewer about the lid, which does not fit tight; however, this did not seem to be an issue to make candy where you often have to put the lid on to trap steam to dissolve any sugar crystals.Even with the somewhat loose-fitting lid, the ... Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - 3-1/2 Analon Saucepan
The pan and top are well made and the pouring spout allows drainage of the liquids without pouring out the contents.A lot easier than using a straining utensil.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - How could I cook without it
I consider this one of the most helpful items that I've purchase in a long while. I've found a dozen uses for this pot and it is so esy to keep clean and so useful.
