- Smart Kitchen Purchase
This knife is awesome and one of the better purchases I made for my kitchen.It's been used to cut homemade bread (stuff that was too dense for a handheld knife!), hams, turkeys, watermelon, squash, etc.It's also been used by my husband to cut foam for his gaming miniatures - and I don't know how he would have cut it without this knife.Definitely a good multi-tasker.
Rating: - a good electric knife for the money
I am basically happy with this product, the only caveat being that it is fairly difficult to disconnect the blades.They built it with safety in mind and it took a while for us to get the hang of getting the blades out to wash after use.Other than that, it is a great product.

I have used the knife three times so far and am pleased with it's performance. My old knife which I had for 20 years was built better than this one so it probably won't last any where as long. And my old electric knife came with two blades, a short and long one. I was disappointed to see only one blade with this knife and that is why I only gave it 4 stars.

Somehow, when I purchased this, I thought it was battery operated, which is what I was looking for.It's not very powerful, but it is small and easy to clean.

I bought this knife to slice my homemade bread and it works just as I intended it to.I must admit the first time I used it I got bread between the two blades but it was MY error.You have to be careful to insert the blades correctly and make sure the tab on the one blade is securely
in the slot on the other blade. Once I figured this out there was no problem.I have also used the knife to carve
my roasts, ham and cut sandwiches. Great size, it fits my
