- Trick for longer lasting filters
I love the coffee from the Toddy system, and discovered how to make these filters last far longer than just 10 uses. Take them into the shower with you and run them under the hot water right up near the shower head. You can even use a little soap (like Ivory or a basic dish soap) to loosen the coffee oil a bit - it'll wash out. Don't scrub the filter as you don't want it to get fuzzy, but really - you can wash it and see the fine particles work their way out. Particularly effective if you have good ... Read More

The needed replacement filters were easy to find and were reasonably priced.We also received them in a timely manner.

True the price on Amazon is too high - I did a little shopping (I was looking for a plug and filters) and I just paid $8.04 for 5 plugs and 4 filters. The filters alone were $5.29 with free shipping for 4 of them (that is $1.32 a piece compared to $5.94 a peice). I did not need 5 plugs, but they were $2.75 compared to almost $8on Amazon (price plus shipping - $4 to ship a 1 oz or less plug??).

although thats just one of the downsides to the toddy cold brew system.
It's all good though because I'm in love with my Toddy system in general.
