- good size and even heating. but rust after first use
This dutch oven has the size at least for 6 people and it is very heavy. So, if you only need to cook for 3-4 people, you should go for 5-quart one. I made a stew with it in my grill. The food turned out to be very good. But the cover ended up with rust after 2 hours of usage. Also, some of seasoning on the bottom of the pan got lost and I could see the silver grey color.
I have to repply the seasoning and it's baken in the oven righ now. I hope it would be fine after that.

- Best Dutch Oven ever
How I lived so long without this dutch oven I'll never know. It is the best. I've used it a number of times both in the oven and on the grill and each time the food has been great. Comes seasoned and is very easy to clean.

- Taste Great
The family thinks I can cook again! Preseasoned was great! Took it out of the box, and with a light rinse, was fixing some chili to die for!

- This Pot Rocks
It's big, it's heavy and it works beautifully! I use it for soups and stews primarily. It's great for pot roast, chili, jambalaya and all those other things bachelors make to tide them through the week. It's very nicely cast, easy to care for, and to my eye, looks great. For most of what I do, an enameled dutch oven would be expensive and superfluous. Just be sure to wipe it down with a little oil after rinsing.
It looks like it'll last forever. I'm willing it to my youngest nephew.

- I likey
Received this last week. It seemed to be seasoned pretty well and only had two small pits that I could see. Nothing major.
Cooked a batch of Chili Saturday, chili came out good due in large part to this pot. Easy to maintain a simmer, even heating and best of all...Super easy to clean up afterwards. The handle stayed cool the whole time.
This will also serve duty as a deep-fryer. After coming to the conclusion that electric deep-fryers just aren't thermally efficient, have ... Read More
