- The ONLY way to can!
I searched the web for this when my old one sprung a leak. Couldn't find one locally, so bought a regular deep well hot water bath last year and HATED it! This year I once again look forward to canning! Much less mess, always seals, rarely breaks a jar, much quicker due to less water to heat -- the only way to go!

- Steam canner
I ordered my steam canner on March 17, it was shipped by Amazon.com through UPS on the 18th and I received it on the morning of the 20th!It was packed great as usual.I always have great luck ordering from AMAZON.COM.
The steam canner seems to be just what I was wanting. The one I used to have was blue speckled granite and lasted over 25 years and finally gave it up when I moved from CA to FL.I hope this one will last as long..it is aluminum light weight but rack is sturdy.

- Steam Canner is better
I purchased the Steam Canner because we had a lot of Pears from two trees and wanted to save as much as possible for future use.My wife has had a pressure cooker and water bath canner in the past. This is by far the best system we have used for canning and highly recommend used it.

This works great.I had put a whole day aside for canning because I was used to hot water bath which takes forever.I couldn't believe how fast this was.Highly recommended.

i reciently purchased a steam canner.this product is fairly easy to use. please be advised that when you remove the lid, do so slowly and tilt the lid away from you to prevent being scalded by the steam. always follow USDA recomendations.
