I use this attachment to blend in the oil that floats to the top of the jar of peanut butter (or other nut butters - I like the cashew butter from Trader Joe's). I tried using it to puree soup in the pot without much success and ended up transferring the soup to my blender.
I haven't tried it for much else, but I would recommend it for the peanut butter job alone since it works really well and takes up almost no space in the drawer. If you are sick of making a mess with the oil that ... Read More

Awesome attachment because you can liquify homemade salad dressings very easily.However the rod didn't fit my old Kitchenaid mixer - got a new one for xmas and it fits.
