Rating: - If you are going to have just ONE pot...
THIS is the one you need. I bought it here on Amazon about 3 years ago after seeing similar ones in Germany. It has held up beautifully. Nothing is better for cooking and draining pasta, the elongated style is easier to handle than the regular saucepan shape which requires 3 hands...one on each side and one to hold the lid or strainer. The lid fits perfectly, with a little practice you'll be draining the pasta with one hand and stirring the sauce with the other. It cleans up nicely in the dishwasher ... Read More

They are so useful!Solid, not flimsy construction.Have even survived my oops-not-paying-attention burnt foods and polished up to the original STAINLESS look!

Just received today.Wanted to post this for others considerations before buying.
This is a cute little 2-qt. pot.Nice idea, the style being tall rather than typically wide, and little additions of measuring indicator and glass, strainer lid.However...
1.The measures are painted in black on the pan interior.So faint, they look more dark grey than black.Many little paint splatters between the 1 & 2-cup levels, and around the 8-cup.(Maybe their stencil needs repair?) ... Read More

I love the concept of this pot - an easy-to-hold handle, glass top, ability to strain and vent, and inside markings.However, I failed to take into account that the small diameter of this pot - 5 inches - makes it unusable on the largest, most powerful burner of my gas range.That burner cover is 4 inches in diameter, and the flame diameter is roughly five inches.As a result, the flame goes up the sides of the pot - bad for the pot and a waste of gas.So, I have to use it on a smaller back burner which ...
