- QuickBooks Pro 2004
Delivered what was expected probably more than I need but meets my needs.Have purchased update since.

- This version cannot be activated.
It is too old to be registered and activated.
The Intuit representative explained their computers cannot generate a code to activate this product(it's too old). And the product will lockout the user after 15 starts(opening the program).

Product exceeds my expectations and arrived in a timely fashion.Very happy with both shipment and service, along with a great product.I highly recommend this to all customers for a future purchase.It is a good starter kit for a small business with under 20 employees, but more then that a more rebust package may be needed.

- Quickbooks technical support problems
I have been running Quickbooks 2004 for a while now. About a year ago I developed an error while using the "Ask a question" function.I contacted tech support, and they stated that I had to pay a fee to find out why their product didn't work correctly any longer.I checked, double checked and tripple checked that auto update was on, and manually made sure that my software was 100% updated, which the updater said it was.I recently did an internet search on my error and discovered that Intuit has ... - There is a reason the pro's use this..
Because they are pro's in their field.If you hire an outsidebookkeeper or accountant, you will find that most of them use QuickBooks. The complaints that I am reading are from business owners who truly believe that buying a piece of software is going to educate them and they will (poof) become good accountants or bookkeepers !!
The ability to use a piece of software DOES NOT make you a bookkeeper or accountant, that is only achieved with education OR good on-the-job training and experience ... Read More
