- Good watch, a bit thick and battery replacement didn't go smoothly for me
This is a good timex watch.I'm on my second or third band (18mm) and for the first time I replaced the battery CR/DL2016 myself, but now find that the indiglo doesn't work and when I press the button the watch stops.I suspect I need to get the battery in more firmly.The battery I bought to replace it was a CR2016 but seemed 'cramped' when I placed it.strange.A comment: This watch was harder than most to close.If you plan to change the battery yourself, you may need to search on amazon ... I have been purchasing Timex watches for years, and will never purchase another watch again EVER. It did not do as it claimed.To begin, i was unable to set the day...it wouldn't set.(i had to wait for the day on the watch before i could start it).i had bought the watch for it's ability to light up in the dark.. that feature was virtually unusable . Amazon was great ,took it back, andfollowed up,

I wanted this Timex watch for two reasons: the easy-to-read face and the indiglo feature.I'm happy with both.And, at about $25, the price is right.
Rating: - Poor Quality
I have been purchasing Timex watches for over 40+ years, and will never purchase another again EVER. I have purchased 5 of these watches in the last year and not one did as it claimed. Everyone of them had a problem with the water resistant seal. I don't swim, bath, etc. with them on only wash my hands - TIMEX definitely as gone the way of corrupt corporate America. Quality is not even in the equation.
