It also offers a full Arabic numeral display, thin gold hands, and a date display at 3 o'clock. With the Quick Date function, you can set the date on the watch without turning the crown for every 24-hour period. Just pull the stem halfway out, and turn until desired date is reached. It's finished by a supple, burgundy genuine leather strap with crocodile texturing.
The Indiglo night-light uniformly lights the surface of the watch dial using patented blue electroluminescent lighting technology. It uses less battery power than most other watch illumination systems, enabling your watch battery to last longer.
Mother-of-pearl is the pearlescent material found on the inside of mollusk shells likeabalone, oysters, and mussels, which can be scraped off, sliced thin, and applied to all manner of jewelry.

I bought this watch for my wife at Christmas and she loved it. Very basic and classy. Setting herself apart from some of the other reviewers, she wasn't offended by the color of the band. It doesn't clash with anything - it's a subtle, fine color. This is a great choice if you're looking for a simple and attractive watch that won't break your budget.

I am glad I bought this watch.It keeps perfect time and the indiglo function is great at night.I had searched for a basic watch for a long time. The face is easy to read although the date function is a little too small.I would have preferred one without the date function.All in all I think this is a great watch.

I've been looking for a watch for a long time so have a bit of an idea of what's out there.Most of the timex watches sold on Amazon sell for a lot less at Target or Walmart. The one shown here is only $24 in these stores and I once I saw it even in a dept. store.After reading the review of the woman who had 3 in a row stop working and could not return them, I would ask you to think just how easy it is to return anything at Walmart or Target if you have one in your area.The other thing is that ... I bought this watch from Amazon in late September as a gift for my friend.My friend wore it for a week, and it simply stopped.It is such an embarrassment to me and my friend, thus I immediately purchased the other two Timex Women's watches(one is an easy reader, another one is a classic) from Amazon for my friend and told my friend the chances of getting a faulty brand new watch is remarkably slim, it must be an unluckily mistake, here are two brand new watches, if one stops, you've got another ... I had this watch for five years before it started to die! I loved it so much that I bought it again. The face is really small. The band is really a dark magenta. It is almost a plum color. I like it but changing the bands is pretty easy as well. Everyone compliments me on this watch!
