- Grinding Gorilla
I've had this little grinder for two years and it is still grinding my coffee like it was new. You put the whole coffee beans in the top, push the button and then the ground coffee comes out the bottom into the holding bin. Don't try ginding anything else though. My sister ground some pepper in her machine, which worked fine at the time. But then, her coffee always had a taste like pepper, which is not good, unless you like coffee with pepper in it, which most people do not. So, just put coffee in ... Read More

I purchased this thinking it should be a great grinder.To start, it was.Within 6 weeks it quit working completely.I only used freshly roasted coffee beans.Less than 5 pounds of coffee went through this grinder.WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS GRINDER. IF YOU WANT JUNK, BUY IT!

I think we can all agree that this is not a top-notch barista-quality machine, but this is a pretty good grinder for the $$.I used it for about 8 months until some grounds got into the area where the safety switch is depressed when the plastic cover is on, then it went bye-bye.I felt like it had pretty consistent grinds and used it mainly for espresso or French press.

Thought I'd like this for the price but the fineness control didn't do anything ! Everything was like talcum powder.
Had to return it. ( the similar looking B&D did the same thing except everything was coarse.
Obviously more money needs to be spent if going the burr route.
