After an entire year of this magazine, I continue to be disappointed by each issue.Each magazine is quite thin, the trip locations and travel tips are very basic and geared towards people who actually don't travel much - they are non-adventurous and the ideas are as simple as any recommendations you'd find for free in an online search. I travel often for business and I find the airline magazine tips more useful than what I find in Travel Girl.The target reader appears to be 50+ women that didn't ... Read More

This is a great holiday gift for anyone with a "travelgirl" on their Christmas list (or a great gift for any time really!) I have been a subscriber for almost five years and I always look forward to getting my new issue in the mail.(The last issue had Dr. Cuddy from House on the cover, not sure why this old issue is on Amazon.) I travel for work and play and have been around the world more than once. I always pack my Travelgirl magazine with me to read on the plane. It's definitely not heavy reading, ... Read More

TravelGirl is worth thumbing through at the bookstore to kill time, but it is not worth the $4.99 cover price or $18/one year (6 issues) for a subscription.(Note:I have been a subscriber to this magazine for one year and definitely will not renew.)
TravelGirl looks and reads like one long advertisement written by a teenager.From the moment you pick it up, you might notice that it seems a little...thin.Each issue is approximately 80 glossy, graphics-filled pages.The layout is amateurish ... Read More

I was so excited to get this magazine, but it sorely dissapointed.Articles are not-in-depth, the most exciting thing about this magazine is the cover art.Articles lack any information, and material is not relevant to 99% of people.Two thumbs down.Don't waste your money!

Lots of fun stuff in this one...definately trends towards younger, upscale women, but interesting ideas not only on travel, but also music and lifestyle things.
