While on vacation in Scotland this last spring we discovered we'd forgotten to bring the charging cable for our iPhone. Driving from the Sterling area up towards Aberdeenshire on a Sunday, still getting used to driving on the left and traffic circles, we found a mall in Perth that had an open electronics store. Since this was the last urban area in our itinerary for the rest of the trip, we went in. This unit (the "ea" version) was the only thing we could find in the whole place that stood a chance ... This product does not work with the new I-Pod 16mb Nano. Belkin does not give you enough information to make an informed purchase so be cautious.
Rating: - Not usable with 4th Generation Nano Ipod
I purchased this item not knowing that it was not compatible with the 4th Generation Ipod.The description was unclear, I hope no one else makes the same mistake I did.So unfortunately, I am stuck with it because it would cost me more than I paid for it to return it.So I am just going to throw it in the trash.Lesson learned.

It worked well for about two years (of very light use) and then the connector just crumbled into pieces.For an item that typically sells for $20, this isn't the sort of quality one should expect. I would look elsewhere.
