- The only thing this toaster inspired us to do, was buy a different toaster
Pros: Toasts 4 slices of bread.
Cons: Burns half of each slice to charcoal (not kidding) while leaving the other half barely toasted....which is great if you have a schizophrenic pallet, or if you like wasting half of your food.
Other Thoughts: We bought one of these, exchanged it for another of the same model. Both burned toast the same way. It doesn't matter if you're toasting 1 slice, 2, or 4, they always come out half burnt, half untoasted. Don't waste your $$

The Oster 6330 is a good value, and excellent toaster, and performs as advertised. We bake our own bread, so the slices may be thin or thick depending on our mood- this toaster has simple and effective adjustments to get the toast just right. It also works great for english muffins, bagels, and over-sized slices (like from a round sourdough loaf).
My only minor suggestion is that the eject lever could come up just a little bit more to be able to get out the smaller top of an english muffin ... Read More
Rating: - Shabby quality
Oster had always meant a quality small appliance until I got this toaster. It worked ok for the few couple of months, but then started burning the toast or frozen waffles. Constant adjustments were required. Then the main lights indicating settings started burning out. After 18 months, this piece of junk is going into the trash. My opinion of Oster quality is in the dumper as well; no more does their name indicate a durable, reliable product. Buyer beware.

We purchasedthe precurser to this model a couple of years ago without the buttons on the side. It lasted for a couple of years of occasional light use and one day would not allow it self to be pushed down or would not turn on.It never toasted evenly and I always rotated my toast halfway through the cycle in an effort to get even toasting. Our local bagels stick up out of the top sometimes so tall bread and such really did not fit well. This being the subsequent newer version should have seen ... Read More

I've had this toaster for over a year, and I'm still not sure whey I haven't thrown it away--the trash is certainly where it belongs.I have never seen a toaster do such incredible things to bread.It will burn half of the back side of piece of bread while leaving the other side virtually untoasted.It does this with one slice or four slices and thick bread and thin bread.What's more, it's not even consistent.If I didn't have to eat the horrible toast it makes, it might almost be entertaining ...
