- missing lid
My canner came without the lid.To their credit, the seller gave me a total refund, and let me keep the pot.Very nice of them.I am sorry however not to have the complete item.

The product is just what I was looking for. I have a larger canner from sears which is really an antique, but I just can't lift the jars out any more. This new canner is going to be a delight. Can't wait to give it a try. Came in perfect condition.

- Just the right size.......
This is for the home canner who wants to go a little slower.....not can so many things at a time. It's perfect for me and I love it. It fits nicely on my electric burner, and cans plenty of jars. It also holds the jars more securely than my big cannner did. I do mostly pint size or smaller jars, and a big canner just didn't hold the jars very securely, and the cannder itself didn't fit on the burner well. This is just right. This canner is really great.I don't have to use so much water or heating time to do my smaller jars.I just wish it was a little bit taller for some special jars that I have.
