- beware the fatal "plop" plus, lack of experience with darker complexions
i wasn't sure which brow kit to order on Amazon.com, so i went into a BE store at the Stanford Mall in Palo Alto.Apparently, the reps were not used to working with women who are darker complected.thus, i was "avoided" for about 5-10 mins.Finally when i was able to get a young salesgirl's attention, and asked which one i should buy, she pointed to a table loaded with the brow kits and said "They're over there" and walked away.My boyfriend (who is white) became red in the face, and went outside ... - Love my eyebrows
I am a BE addict, and I had been unhappy with regular brow pencils.This product is great.I have dark ash brown hair and brows, and the brunette color is perfect.I am so happy to be able to correct the shape, and fill in where I overplucked.It looks so natural, and the brow gel keeps the strays in check.
I, too wish that the brow gel was sold separately.
Much better than pencils!!

GOOD KIT, NICE PRODUCT, MINIMAL DIRECTIONS
The Bare Escentuals bareMinerals Essential Brow Kit is a good alternative to an eyebrow pencil, especially if you have eyebrows, but they are getting sparce and simply need filling in. However, if you are looking for directions on how to shape your brows, this kit is lacking.

Over the years, I've used just about every eyebrow product available and never found one that I couldn't do without until using this one.The little brush has just the right amount of stiffness to get the powder where you want it.
Another reviewer said her eyebrows were sparse; well, mine are also, but after using the powder I use a regular eyebrow brush to get rid of any excess powder and to soften the look.The Brunette is really dark, though, so be aware of that when ordering.Next time ... Read More

I first tried Bare Esentuals make up at my mom's house.She had some so I thought I'd try it.I loved it.She had the eye brow kit, and it was the dark blond.I'm dark brown w/ highlights, so when I bought my own I bought the brunette.Personally I think the dark blond blended better into my brows and didn't give me the "hello... meet my eyebrows" look.The brunette just made my brows look black.But the kit is wonderful and does blend extremely well to hide the sparse areas.It looks much better than ...
