- Goodbye Wok
I have a Calphalon Wok and never seemed to have enough room for all the veggie's and meat. This one works great the deep sides work just as good as a wok and you have more flat area to saute in. The lid is very tough it comes in handy for steaming and holding heat to a dish prior to serving. DON'T wash it in your dishwasher you will ruin the surface.

I bought this 13" skillet about 2 and a half months ago and am very disappointed to find that there are nicks and chips in the inside surface of the pan. I never used any metal implements sharper than a table fork and didnt scrape hard with that, mostly only used a plastic spatula on it. Cleaned only with a Scotch-Brite pad as recommended by the manufacturer.
Pan still works fine but I have stopped using it because of the damage to the cooking surface since I don't want to eat the advanced ... Read More

We were looking for a large family size non-stick skillet for pot stickers and this really worked great. The size and performance was excellent as expected. We had owned Calphalon's first anodized cookware before but this updated version works much better in regards to food release and oven safe. The only thing missing from this product is that it is NOT dishwasher safe - must be handwashed. Otherwise the package of skillet plus lid is a good buy and will last a very long time.

The Calphalon One Nonstick 13-inch Chef's skillet with glass lid is just what I've been wishing I'd had for the last few years. It holds a whole lot of stir-fry without spilling over and is more versatile than a wok. It's great for a big batch of chili or for browning meat to prep several entrees at once. The lid helps things cook faster and lets me keep an eye on everything, too. Cleanup is a breeze.
