A quick boiled egg, a bowl of soup and sauces for seafood, poultry and meat all require the right pan such as this 1.5-qt. stainless sauce pan. The All-Clad stainless piece has three layers of metal bonded together. The aluminum core covers the sides and bottom so heat passes evenly throughout the pan. An extended handle slopes up and away from pan to remain cool to your touch. Safe for use on glass/ceramic stoves.

THis was a perfect addition to my kitchen.It's practical and useful, and after putting this to the test on my stove I can tell it will be one of my most often used pieces. I cook for a family of four and as the children are growing older and eating more it has been clear that I needed larger pieces.I also was amazed at how fast this thing boiled water for pasta today!!My old hand me down pot took three times as long!

I own two other All-Clad products and have yet to be disappointed. The construction is sound and consistency in cooking is great.I'll definitely be adding more to the kitchen cupboards in time.

I'm a fan of the Made in the USA All Clad products. I've slowly built my collection with promotional items, sales, and now have a 15+ piece All Clad cookware collection. I don't count their utensils or other items as part of the 15 pieces.
The 1/2 quart sauce pot seemed a bit small, but it was the only sauce pot I saw on Amazon that was discounted. I figured I could use it for melting butter, sauces, small soup portions, and other duties.

- Outrageous All Clad Warranty Performance
I purchased the 1 1/2 quart pan in October.In December it delaminated on a portion of the base - an area about 1/2 inch wide, and 5 inches long.In January, after Christmas, I returned the pan to All Clad after somedifficulty in finding out from them where to send the pan.I was on hold on two different lines for a long time.I did send the pan per FedEx on January 19.I heard nothing from them.In mid February I called to check on status only to hear that it took six weeks for processing and testing. ... this is a very good quality pot but the handle is too long like most all clad pots - they take up too much room on the stove and in the cabinet
