This kit is a reasonable alternative to buying these much needed tools for canning individually.It seemed to me to be a "smart" buy since I needed all of them before I get started with my exciting new project of canning fresh fruits and vegetables this summer.

This set is perfect for what I needed, and it's really a great price, too! I'm sure I could have gone to several stores and picked up each piece individually, but the fact that these all match really make it easy to get everything together and ready for when I'm canning.
