A marvel for its price, the traditional dreadnought design makes for one very playable guitar with a great, full tone. Perfect for strumming or fingerpicking any style of music, it's no wonder this guitar has been so highly rated by our customers. Features a genuine spruce top, die-cast tuning machines, 25-1/2" scale nato neck, and bound rosewood fretboard. It's easy to tune and stays that way. Rich, resonant sound and excellent projection and intonation make this a first guitar to be proud of. It's also great for camping or as a second guitar. - Good beginner guitar
I've been playing guitar for about 10 years on and off and after looking at the reviews, I decided to buy this one instead of the takamine. The guitar was packed very well inside two boxes and arrived in a week. The reason why I gave this guitar a 4 star rating is that the action is too high and the strings have to be replaced. But after I had the strings replaced and the neck adjusted, it sounds pretty well. You have to play on it everyday though to "soften" the strings a little bit. This ... Read More

- Ok for beginner
I got my rogue for Christmas, so I've had it a couple of months. I'm a beginner and although I was a little disappointed with the sound of the guitar (kind of flat sounding - not a rich strong tone/ and that's after restringing). And I'm tuning it pretty much every time I play b/c it goes flat. But since I'm new at this guitar thing, maybe I'm doing something wrong with that. I agree with another reviewer re: not being able to put a strap on. But it's nice looking and it's fine for me to learn on. ... Read More

- DO NOT BUY THIS GUITAR!!!!
PLEASE SAVE YOUR BOX AND INVOICE. If you are going to buy this guitar, make sure it works as soon as you receive it. When I received it, I noticed it didn't sound properly and the strings rattled over the sound of any note. I was away for two months after and when I came back I decided to bring it to the local shop to find out what was wrong with it. He said the neck is bent in the wrong direction and it's beyond repair. Unfortunately, I did not save the box so I would be charged a 15% restock fee ... Read More

- Just *One* Problem
The only real complaint I have about this acoustic guitar is that there is only one strap pin. Where the other end of the strap should go...nothing is there! I was a little surprised. Perhaps it was a fluke, but that is really my only problem with the guitar. Otherwise, it's been great.
Rating:
- OK, but generally a very cheap guitar.
From the reviews, I expected this guitar to be a steal. However, I got just what I paid for, an OK sounding, possibly moldy, below average guitar.
When I first opened it, I had very high expectations and hopes. However, I was a little disappointed when I saw that the paint was not that full, looked like it needed another coat. I was happy that the guitar came with D'addario strings, (phosphor bronze wound) but they weren't my style (too bright) so I immediately replaced them with Elixer ... Read More
