Amazon.com Review:
While there may be metal treasures under the asphalt of the parking lot, most modern day bounty hunters prefer to get away from their automobiles to more fertile territory before getting down to business. Likewise, the bounty hunter code of ethics rules out prospecting on private property, environmental reserves, and historical or archeological sites, so finding the right beach or park to comb may require some foot travel. To protect a sensitive metal detector in transit, Bounty Hunter offers this metal detector carry bag.
The bag accommodates all Bounty Hunter metal detectors with S-rod configurations and displays the Bounty Hunter logo on its side. Crafted in sturdy outer nylon shell with double stitching, the bag protect from dust, debris, weathering, and light water damage. A rust-resistant zipper provides quick access to the detector while keeping the bag firmly closed when sealed. For transporting spare batteries or stowing found goods, the bag provides outer pockets with zippers. Users carry the bag by two large handles. The USA-made bag measures 28 by 10 inches with expandable width and weighs 1.8 pounds upon shipping. --Jessica Reuling

- A Fine Bag
Great for transporting your Bounty Hunter.Has Velcro loops inside to hold down the straight section of the detector (you separate the sections to minimize length) and a small outside pocket on one end for spare batteries. Also has plenty of room for headphones and other supporting equipment.
The huge logo on the outside is a bit distracting, but is otherwise worth it.

- Too small
I have a bounty hunter discovery 3300.The thing barely fits in the bag.I have to use both hands and really juggle and stretch the opening to slip it in.I also have to flip the coil over as it won't fit in with the coil attached and angled as I use the coil.If the bag was only 2 inches longer, then that would be nicer. If it were 8 to 10 inches longer that would be really ideal.A stiff floor to keep the bag open as you rummage through it would be good too.I'm going to add one to my bag ... Read More

- Smaller than expected
I'm disappointed that the metal detector has to be taken apart to fit in the bag. Other than that it was great quality and nicely padded.
Rating:
- Just a rectangular bag with handles.
The quality of this carry bag is just fine. But that's about it. There are no padded dividers, or any type of padded compartments, or any padding anywhere for that matter, or any rigidity to the bottom, or any type of configuration structures inside the bag for holding and PROTECTING your expensive Detector equipment. Which would then make this plain square bag and really nice and really useful carry bag. Instead, it's just nothing more than a rectangular (thin) nylon bag with two little 'universal' ... Read More

- I wouldn't buy another one.
I saw a review where the guy said he could put two detectors and all his equipment in the bag. I can't. It's a cramped fit to put one Sharp Shooter two in it, and that's after you take it apart and put the two pieces in the bag. There is enough room for 8" and 4" coils and headphones, but you have to take everything out of the bag to get to them. The bag is cramped with the detector alone and offers no padding for protection. If it sold in the $5 to $10 range, I would have given it two stars.
