- Large Pyrex measuring cup
I did not realize how big it was until I got it and my favorite use is to use as a mixing bowl.Great handle to hang onto while running mixer with other hand. Also fits in my stand-type mixer. Liked it so much bought some more pyrex.

I bought this to use as a MIXING bowl.It is perfect for that.Clearly marked and a great size for cake mixes.As to the reviews about pyrexware exploding-I have several baking pieces and have never had a problem with them as long as they are used properly.I would never set pyrex directly on a gas burner.That's just asking for trouble.Neither would I take a hot pan out of the oven and set it on a cold surface.

Love the 8 cup pyrex for adding water to my 5 gal. cooler mash tun.
Quicker, easier, and more accurate then adding from a pint measuring cup over and over again.Add the grains and you are mashing away to a great all-grain beer.

First let me say, this is not a measuring cup, this is a measuring bowl. It is a very large and convenient size. The bowl is about 7.5 ins across and 5 ins deep. I love it, its great for a variety of measuring, mixing and microwaving.
