Product Description:
The simple way to make frothed milk for that perfect fresh CAPPUCCINO, MILKSHAKE OR HOT CHOCOLATE, every time... The Original steam free milk frother. Includes 2 x AA alkaline batteries
Amazon.com:
This cute handheld milk frother is fun and easy to use; British celebrity chef Nigella Lawson recommends it over steam-driven frothers. Plus, in addition to its most popular use--creating delicate foam for homemade cappuccinos, lattes, or hot chocolates-- the Aerolatte milk frother can be used for other, equally yummy treats. An enclosed recipe sheet offers ideas for fruit "shakes" and coffee frappes that can be made with any kind of cow, goat, sheep, soy or rice milk! Some restaurant chefs even froth milk to foam garnish earthy soups.
The frother is easy to use, with a simple black toggle button to turn it on. Hold the stainless steel head just below foam level to keep froth building. The shape of the steel-toned, satin-finished handle is curved in the right places and flattened on the sides for a comfortable grip. When it's time to replace the batteries, a black ridged cover slides off to reveal the battery chamber. (It's important to use alkaline batteries with the Aerolatte milk frother.)
To clean, turn the frother on and dip the whisk in hot soapy water; rinse well, and turn again briefly to spin dry. Wipe the handle with a damp cloth; do not immerse handle in water. The whisk is not removable from the battery handle. The milk frother measures 8-1/2 by 1-1/2 inches. Two AA alkaline batteries are included, as well as a recipe and instruction sheet. Aerolatte guarantees the Original Steam-Free frother for five years. --Garland Withers

Very glad I purchased aerolatte milk frother.I use it for my Chai Tea Latte and hot chocolate drinks. It works great.Recommend this product.

- Newer model not as good
I have two Aerolattes, one is several years old, the other is brand new.The new one feels like cheap plastic, the switch is hard to operate and seems about to break, and it spins much more slowly than the original.A problem with ratings like these is that a manufacturer can get a good rating with a good product then downgrade the product and slide on the reviews.Maybe they make two models. If you can find the one that has a chromelike finish and the thinner beater wire it's a better product ... - Good, but...
Nice product, does what it claims.BUT, expected it to be a bit more powerful. It's just adequate.

- I'd buy a Cheaper Model
After reading several good reviews, I purchased this item, however, I'd suggest finding a cheaper model elsewhere. It's not all it's cracked up to be.
I've tried cold and then heating half n half to several different temperature levels and get very little foam. Even tried adding water to the half n half thinking that might be the problem.I've only managed to get a decent froth on one occasion. It seems that this little tool slows down and then speeds up some reason. Just not consistent. ... Read More

- It works.
Having this item for a week now I can say it does what it is supposed to do. One thing I found while using this is to be careful on not to press to hard against a cup while frothing or it will stop spinning. There's definitely an art to getting it to froth quickly.
