- perfect tv show recorder
i love these dvd ram discs. I dont have cable so i record my tv shows @ my parents house and bring them home every night.saves a bundle.They can record up to i think 100,000 times on each discPanasonic 4.7GB DVD-RAM X3-STORAGE MEDIA ( LM-HB47LU ). They com in singles and 5 packs.You can also get the 9.4GB witch is dual sided for dubble the recording lenth.

I bought these only because Panasonic said they were the only way to record a digital TV program.They were right, it recorded the programs just fine with no problems.
But....DVD-RAM can only be played on Panasonic or Samsung.They cannot be finalized so other players can read them.This makes very difficult unless you have two Panasonics in the house.Although it is better then not being able to record a digital broadcast at all, it is not the best solution.Someone needs to ... These are the DVD RAMs that used to be sold at Circuit City.Now you can have them delivered to your door at a great price.
I use them all the time at LP mode for movies, at SP mode for family movies.
Clear crisp picture.Never any problems.

I use these in a Panasonic recorder and they do a good job. Playback has been very good and no issues with re-recording or other.

I use these to record shows to watch later, erase, and record more stuff, etc. great video and audio quality. I like how I can erase individual recordings or erase the whole dvd and start over. These are great. Most shows I record, I just want to watch once and erase. These work great.
