Rating: - A good product that works as intended
It was good to find these available as they are not available locally.They happen to work well in the particular Panasonic DVR that we have and they are quite handy to keep recorded programs temporarily until they are no longer needed.At that point the disc can be reinitialized and re-used.I've not yet had any trouble with any of these DVD RAM discs.

- It works almost like a video tape, but better.
I bought these DVDs because I like to use them like video tapes, without the hassle of rewinding or accidentally recording over something I wanted to keep.You can record on these DVDs over and over numerous times, which you cannot on other DVDs without losing major recording time.They are nice also for editing as well - if you do want to keep a program, and eliminate commercials.I think they may only work in Panasonic equipment though, which is sad.I think more companies should make products ... I've been useing this product on both my computer as well as my DVD recorder to record tv shows. Quality of picture and sound, even after re-recording, remains great.

I recently bought a Panasonic DVD recorder and until then I had never heard of DVD RAMs.I purchased a 10 pack from Amazon, and tried them as soon as I got them.The picture and sound quality is pristine, vey close to HD, you can hardly tell the difference.They are so versatile; editing is easy, and even deleting a whole disc only takes a few seconds.Add to that the thousands of times they can be re-recorded and it's a winner all round.
