- Insanely Elegant Simplicity
This watch is, in my opinion, gorgeous in its simplicity.I also like that it is sort of the ultimate "not fancy" watch.It has no extra buttons, no date function and it proudly says Timex at the top.The indiglo feature is the only concession to technology and I love that, too -- it works great.One reviewer said it was a bit thick.Doesn't seem so to me.The band doesn't seem like the highest quality leather (would you really expect it to on a watch at this price?) but it looks good to me ... - Timex Easy Reader
This is my second easy reader, so I'm a huge fan of the watch.(My first died through no fault of its own). A potential down side for some may be that it is a little bulky, but I've never fancied slim watches.
I did replace the leather band with a silicone version, but otherwise this is a keeper.It maintains time well, and looks good with all styles of clothing - from gym gear to formal wear.It's inexpensive and obviously, easy to read!

I ordered this watch on August 5th. It is now August 7th and I received it in the mail today, so needless to say the shipping was really fast and I was surprised when it came in today. This is a great watch. It looks good, it's easy to read, easy to set and the Indiglo light is great. Simple, no frills which is just what I wanted. I don't need a date function, because I always know the date anyway.
My only criticism is the band. It's a bit short in my opinion; I have thin wrists as it ... Read More

The title of my review says it all.The watch is easy to read.The Indiglo glows when you push the stem.The watch is thick like most cheap watches these days.The cushioned band is very short for a man's wrist.I found a 18mm "long" h2o resistant band at Walmart for around $9 with free installation.Now I wait to see if the Speidel Express Walmart watch band, made with genuine leather, causes a rash.The Timex watch comes with a stainless steel back.
