The Crosley 302 Phone returns to the wall in this Henry Dreyfuss tribute. Dreyfuss, considered a brilliant industrial designer, worked with Bell Telephone Laboratories designing telephones that were sensitive to consumers' desire to suit a variety of home environments. Well known for the 302 style Desk Phone, he later shifted his design efforts to include this wall unit allowing consumers to walk with the phone while cradling it on their shoulder. This unified and balanced form replaced the awkward and ungainly shapes of earlier models. Would you believe Dreyfuss actually used measurements from over 2000 faces to determine the distance between the average mouth and ear? I am planning on purchasing the red 302 crosley wall phone, but I would like to know how long the cord is before I make my purchase.Can anyone who has the black model, and bought it thru amazon, tell me how long the cord is?!Thanks

Nice retro phone.I bought it for our barn because I wanted something that looked old.It's rugged and has good sound quality.

Solid, sturdy telephone, with push-button "dial"
Has good loud, but not piercing ring
Weighted handset is a little surprising, but easy to get used to using, and makes for good, satisfying hang-ups.
We bought this when our modern corded phone (one phone that couldn't be misplaced) cradle broke-off and the handset would not hold.NOT going to be a problem with this phone!
Redial and other modern features.
Extra long coil cord.

I purchased this phone as a Christmas gift for my brothers family and it was recieved as a hit. The phone exhibits excellant quality and a feel for the the nostalgic of yesteryear. My brother installed this phone immediately after Christmas and has become a real converstation piece for when guest come bye. My 11 year old neice even loves this phone as it has the antique look but with todays technology. my dog chewed the cord in two and now we cannot take the cord that is attached to the phone off, or even find a replacement for the hand set. piece of junk. you would have to buy the whole phone.
