My previous food processor of almost 10 years broke and I have been unable to repair so decided on the KitchenAid food processor.

The bowl, top and base are sturdy and durable (also translates into heavy).This one comes with a smaller bowl as well as the larger so it's perfectly usable for both large and small jobs.I have not had a chance to use all the attachments.The standard cutting blade works well.I had some half frozen cooked chicken and veggies that were pulverized easily ... This is my second food processor model from KitchenAid.The first one, after destroying itself on a simple shredding operation, I opted to not replace as I didn't like some of the design features.I went with this model because of the larger capacity feed tube.It doesn't come with as many of the accessories as other models (like the medium bowl or the whip attachment), but otherwise fits most food processing needs I have. I had a food processor but it wasn't doing the job of slicing and chopping like I needed.I found this processor on Amazon and bought it.I love it.It is everything and more.I especially like the 12 cup capacity.I found a like food processor at Lowes but it was only 10 cup and what a difference a 12 cup makes, plus it is easy to use and clean and my veggies for a tray turn our perfect.Also it is best machine for making break crumbs.Sounds strange huh, but believe me when I say this model puts ...
