It is was i was looking for.
A cheap optical cable that wil deliver great sound.
It feels and seem as a quality product and it realy delivers quality sound.

- Snug fit, works fine
This cable works fine for me, with three different machines of varying ages. Make sure you remove the rubber tip protecting the connector before plugging in. Also, there is a little nubbin on the side that will keep the cable in place. If the cable is not secure, then you may need to push it in a little farther (GENTLY) until the cable is in all the way.
Also, note that the digital inputs are not oriented all the same way. You may need to rotate the plug 90 degrees for it to fit.

- Fabulous find
The cable is great.Everything seems to be working perfectly.I was a little discourage to spend more $$ to buy yet another cable to hook up all the things that came with the new flat screen TV.But I refused to pay the $50 for the one I found in the store was willing to gamble on the $3 with shipping on this one.Once I realized there was a cap on the end of the cable everything worked great.I didn't come with any instructions or pictures and I didn't look at the expensive cable that closely ... - Functional, but not for Yamaha
I purchased two of these. The cable worked fine and plugged into my 360 and Dish network boxes perfectly.Oddly they would not lock into my Yamaha sound bar. They functioned just fine as long as I didn't pull on the cables. The Yamaha cable plugged into everything fine.

- Can't go cheap in Optical I guess.
Under the assumption all cables are created equal I bought four of these. At the price it could not be beat. After a move I noticed the PS3 was no longer getting sound.Changing the optical cables produced sound.Trying the cable on another item proved twice that the cable was indeed broken.Like clock work every month after each wire failed.I wanted so much for it to work too.
