- Very Good Splatter Screen
This splatter screen covers practicly all types of cooking pans and saucers.Almost all of the splattering grease does not reach your stovetop and this is a big plus to all cookers who do not want to clean up a big greasy mess.The screen is very easy to clean with a sponge and hot soapy water.Just put the screen in your dish drainer and let it air dry.Nothing cold be more simpler.

I have a cast iron skillet and cast iron Dutch oven, that are thirteen inches in diameter. This screen just fits it right on the inside lip and keeps the simmering inside instead of on the stove top. I rinse it off and let it ride in the dishwasher. So much better than washing it all off the stove, walls, and cabinets. The bends in the frame let it stand by itself when you have to put it down. It is a cooling rack, a sieve in a pinch, and spoon rest. I have not tried it as a trivet, not with cast ... Read More

I bought this screen to replace one that had gotten damaged....not stainless....this screen fits a 12" pan perfectly, the old one rested inside the edges of the pan, this one overlaps the pan edges. the added standoffs on the bottom are a great aid in keeping ang grease from comming into contact with a counter top or other surface when setting the screen down. I purchased this splatter screen from amazon and I am pleased with it so far!It works great and fits on most skillets because it is big.Its only drawback might be that it is too big for some skillets (but I am sure you can buy a smaller size for smaller skillets).I have also been pleased that it cleans up easy in the dishwasher without rusting (although it can be difficult to fit in my dishwasher)!Great product!
