- Frustrating
When I (the grandmother) first installed the game, it worked well.Then it seemed to "kick in and kick out" all the times after that.The kids ( 6 and 7) were frustrated that they could not get through want they wanted to do without the game "knocking off."
I have uninstalled it and installed it again, and this did not work!Apparently this is a defective disk, but it does not pay for me to return it, since the shipping would be almost as much as the disk itself.

- NOT FOR OSX 10.5 Leopard
This is a very old version of KidPix from 1999 and will ONLY work within the classic layer of OS X 10.4 or earlier. (Hence the cheap price). If you have Apple's latest Operating System 10.5 or newer and/or if you want to run the upgraded version you will need to purchase KidPix Deluxe 3X with a SRP of 39 dollars. The box looks almost exactly the same, so be sure to look for that tiny "X"!

- Kid Pix is a Kid Favorite
My son uses this program at school and it was his only birthday request.He loves it!When his friends come over, they spend more time playing on Kid Pix than they do playing Wii or other video games.The pictures he can create allows him to use his imagination and my walls are beautifully decorated!A great find!

I was also unable to get Kid Pix 3 to work on XP. After searching the internet, we found a way that was supposed to make it compatible.We followed every direction to make this thing work. It did end up finally loading, but then it would crash. Finally we found a tech support number. First we were told that there was only support on the web for KP3, but the website directs us back to call for support. We were bounced us back and forth and back and forth to different departments. NO ONE wanted to take responsibility ... Read More

- My daughter begged for this game
My 8 year old played with this at school and begged that we get it for her at home. She is very creative and loves it.
