Same as other people that rated this product one star.Works fine for about a year, then the battery dies.The reason is because B&D used the cheapest batteries and chargers it could get.
Note to people who still have a working unit: don't leave your vacuum always plugged in.The constant trickle of electricity slowly kills the batteries.Better to put it on a timer and charge it for short time each day.Also, try to completely drain the batteries every month or two.If you do ... Suction is good, Filter is washable, Holds a charge very well, Best DustBuster I've owned out of 3.

Although a little on the heavy side, the power of the vac is great, the best I have ever seen. This is my second one (home and shop). I got my first 1 year ago, and it is still going strong on the same battery.
