This video (along with all the other Leap Frog Videos) is amazing."When two vowels go walking, the first one does the talking," is one of the main ideas.It is great for beginning readers.I have a 2nd grader, Kindergartner, and preschooler...they all love this video.

Letter Factory and Word Caper videos made letters,letter sounds, sounding out and reading so much fun and easy, I wish I had had it for my older child.Well worth the investment.

This video is perfect for beginning readers who know the short vowel sounds and are able to blend.Both of my daughters were able to transition from words like "cat" and "fat" to words with digraphs and special rules (e.g. magic E) painlessly.After the first time my four-year-old watched this video, she was able to write out simple words like HOP and then lengthen the O by adding the magic E (i.e. HOPE).
I have younger children as well and they were very entertained by the video, although ... Read More
