- Okay Toaster but one of the elements is already broken
We got this about a year ago and it was okay. Better than most Black and Deckers but not great.The interface is a bit confusing and the toasting and broiling is not good (but not bad either) and has been getting progressively worse.Tater Tots should not take 40 minutes!Well last night it happened, the upper (back) element has failed to light and it appears that it is broken.We had this for less than a year and this is a big disappointment.Save your money and try to find something else.
Rating: - Too complicated and slow to toast, yet burns things!
This oven stinks. The controls are too complicated. I shouldn't have to remind my mom every time she visits how to use it! It's not logical at all.
TOASTING: It takes an eternity to toast anything, esp. frozen waffles. It does not automatically shut off when toasting is done.
BAKING: The oven only sets in 50 degree increments (350, 400, 450, etc.) I think the temp must run high because I burn things on a regular basis. Plus, you cannot turn the oven on without setting the ... Read More

This toaster oven makes really good toast--and the digital controls are very user-friendly.It is good at baking, also--but you must be careful not to overbrown the bottom of your baked goods.
BTW, the notorious "beep" is not particularly loud or annoying.
Rating: - This is a so-so product for the money
This is an OK product.I expected it to be a much better quality.It does the job...but I wouldn't say it's any better than a $30 toasted oven.I have heard so many great things about DeLonghi and will give them another try.However, I would pass this product in particular up if/when we need another toaster oven.

- EXCELLANT TOAST-R-OVEN
I have owned this toast-r-oven for two years.A power failure "fryed" the digital works.I was unable to get it fixed as parts were no longer available.I searched the web and I was able to find the last (known) Delonghi XD479B toast-r-oven for sale.I quickly bought it.It is the best four slice toast-r-oven I have ever owned.I believe this product is no longer manufactured.I don't know which Delonghi toast-r-oven has replaced it nor do I know why (if) it has been replaced.
