Part of this new series is its large electric skillet with a 12 x 15-in. cooking surface that's big enough for family breakfasts or a large pot roast with vegetables. It has a smooth, brushed stainless steel exterior with solid cast stainless handles. The powerful, 1500 watts heat up fast and maintain the temperature selected for consistent results. A temperature probe adjusts from Warm to 450 degrees, allowing you to fry, saute, braise or simmer. The nonstick cooking surface eliminates the need for excess butter or oil for healthier cooking. Plus, cleanup is even faster. With the temperature probe removed, the entire skillet is dishwasher-safe.

Own 2 and just bought a third as a gift for the daughter. After reading several bad reviews, I had to check to be certain it was the same skillet we owned. We have had one for about 5 years and took it to the cabin when we bought another for the house.Both have been great and were new (as advertised) at the time of purchase.

If you EVER need a multi task skillet this is it! So versitle, this one is headed off to college with my son. I received the product in a timely way and it was wrapped very well.

I loved this pan when I got it about 2 years ago, then I started cooking with it and was disappointed how unevenly it cooked for the price - you can tell EXACTLY where the oval element is about 2.5 inches from the edge.For liquid or saute dishes this is not a big deal, but when making pancakes, half of one would literally be golden brown and the half near the edge would be raw.Shuffling pancakes and meat dishes around the pan to get them to cook evenly was a pain I lived with for 1.5 years.Ridiculous ... I'm very dissatisfied with this electric skillet that I've only had about three weeks. I do plan to contact the company about a replacement. I hope that the problems here are unique, but unless I find out that they are, I'd want to recommend not buying this appliance.

I cooked - using this electric frying pan - for the first time today.
