I can't get to my computer because my daughter won't stop playing!Days and days of having fun building her own zoo.
Rating: - Make Sure You Get the Second Disk
This is a totally awesome game!Our whole family enjoys it.Be sure you get two disks for the complete version with the Marine Mania Expansion, if not call the Aspyr Technical Support, number in the back of the pamphlet, to have them send it to you -- ask for Andrew - excellent customer service.
Rating: - Zoo Tycoon review
The whole family has enjoyed playing Zoo tycoon. I purchased it as a Christmas present for my 11 year old daughter and she immediately began playing and kept going until we kicked her off the computer. Her 7 year old brother also loves playing, although it is a little over his ability level. He can have fun playing but his zoo's are sort of crazy. This game also works very well for adults. I strongly recommend this for all ages.

- Steep learning curve
I purchased this for my sons (10 and 7) to share. This is not the kind of game the kids can jump into and start playing. I insisted they go through the tutorials to learn what to do. The tutorials are thorough but tedious. However, the boys like the programmers' sense of humor -- instructing one task and then taking it back b/c the animal was not happy -- and the games' potential. We'll have to append this review after they've played the full games a few times.

I love this game. I want to be a zoologist or a zookeeper, so it's perfect. I think it's very realistic too. The animals get sick, reproduce, and everything. I STRONGLY recommend this game!!
