Lodge prologic,
If you have been looking for a wok this is probably the one you want... that is if you are serious about wok cooking.
My wife is from Asia so I have seen several different types of woks. (Steel, Teflon, aluminum, electric fired, German $200 woks, enameled you name it).
Lodge has combined the features you need.

- solid and dependable wok
I purchased this wok to replace a thin, cheap, non-stick one I had for several years. I'll never cook on plastic again (teflon). This wok heats evenly and I can crank up the heat on it. This wok is a standby for us now - it stays out on the stove and gets used throughout the week. After about a month of use, it is seasoning nicely.Probably the only caveat is to watch out for those handles - they get hot..but anyone who has cooked with cast iron knows that. Just keep some pot holders handy if you ... Read More

- An excellent cast iron wok
I'm not a fan of cast iron woks but using an electric stove has forced me to give it a try. All I can say is it gives the same results as my older pounded steel woks do on and outside gas burner on my electric top stove. I also love the fact though a nice flat bottom the interior is round. Really a great job in design by Lodge.

- Wow! This is an incredible wok
I've cooked Chinese food at home for almost 20 years and have suffered in frustration with various metals. Sometimes low-tech is best, and Lodge really thought out the design of this wok. Doesn't take long to warmup and once hot, it stays hot for a long time. Because it's a traditionally shaped wok, it uses less oil than cheaper carbon woks. Its large handles allow you to easily handle its heft with mits on, and the flat base is great. It will last longer than you'll be on the planet, and you'll thank ... Read More

- great wok better than my stainless steel wok
I purchased this wok a few weeks ago after much searching for a better wok than my stainless steel wok. The price was a deterrent but I made up my mind and bought it. The only downside is it would be good to have a cover , to make up for this I found a glass cover that fits about 3/4 up. It is really heavy but the heat retention is great and it is truly virtually non stick. Today I reseasoned mine because I left it unwashed overnight and when I washed it it lost some of the seasoning. To season: ... Read More
