From Cuisinart's Chef's Classic series comes this handsome, durable cookware with triple-layer construction. The exterior is hard-anodized aluminum, which is even stronger than stainless steel, with an encapsulated pure aluminum core for quick, even heating. The interiors of the pots and pans feature Cuisinart's Quantanium nonstick finish, a high-quality, long-lasting finish internally reinforced with titanium. Little oil or butter is needed when cooking on this ultra-smooth surface, and low to medium heat is recommended, along with non-metal utensils. O.k, let it be known that I have never written a review for a product before, much less a review for a bunch of pots and pans.So with that being said, this bunch of pots and pans transcends any other cookware set that I have owned.So, be assured this is a great value and I am an advocate for these pots and pans. I didn't pay attention and was unaware of these not being a good idea for the dishwasher.But, it is inconsequential... nothing sticks to them and it takes two seconds to clean them ... Read More

I actually paid a lot more for this set than what it sells for on Amazon.I thought they were going to last me several years, I was wrong.Only after a few months' use I noticed the interior was heavily marked and a few scratches, even though I only use wood and nylon cooking utensils.I even bought a special cleaning product hoping it would "fix" some of the scarring, but no use.The outsides also discolored very quickly.Even the stock pot developed "rings" on the inside that would not go ... Bought this item for 25 year old son. The only thing he did let me know when it was delivered to him cross-country was that they looked really good in his kitchen. The handles are very sturdy and he was looking forward to using them.
Rating: - Nice set but exterior is not durable
I purchased these on sale for $140.The pots and pans seemed good, but two of them discolored on the exterior rather quickly.It seemed that the coating came off.I sent them back to Cuisinart and they said that I used an abrasive to clean the pots which is wrong.These pots are inferior; but others for the money.
Plus, Cuisinart does not honor their "Lifetime Warranty."

My husband is the cook and I am the head dish washer in this family, and we both love this cookware! It heats evenly on the stove (even with electric) and clean-up is just a swipe of the dish cloth. With a great price, this is a quality set of cookware that I would recommend to anyone.
