- Smoothie making simple
The blender is perfect for me and my small apartment.It makes smoothie making a breeze-even great with frozen fruit. I have even blended ice cubes for a pina colada and it seemed to handle ice ok. I have had it for about a month now and I use it about every third day......the blender is still working great.

I previously owned this blender for at least 2 years and it was a dream. However they changed the LID on this blender and it leaks horribly. The part on the lid where you push it back to sip out of it or stick a straw, does not close tight and stuff leaks out of it. I have had it for one hour and it is going back. I will hunt for the older version. This new and improved with the lid is poorly designed.

This is a great product for its price.I use it to make soy milk or soybean milk and it works great.

I've just made my first mocha frappuccino in this little blender and I'm very impressed. It took the ice with no problem, I didn't even have to chop it up first, as someone else suggested. It blended beautifully although I did smell the motor smell other reviewers have mentioned so I just stopped it for a few seconds, then continued on. My drink is cold,thick and foamy. This is a great little blender.I used it every day for over two months.Today smoke started coming out of the motor.I hope Hamilton Beach will replace it, but we'll see if its still under warranty or not.Its only $20 so may not be worth my postage cost to send it in the hopes they actually replace it.
