Product Description:
Eureka Hand-Held Vacuum Cleaner - Eureka 71B
Amazon.com Review:
Hand-held but very powerful, this Eureka model eliminates the hassle of lugging around a full-size vacuum for cleaning car upholstery, sofas, and carpeted stairs. A long 20-foot cord (which wraps for storage) provides good reach, as does the deluxe hose that stretches to three times its length. With the crevice tool on the end of the hose, this vacuum reaches into all kinds of tight places. And, with two motors, one to power the revolving brush and one for suction, the 5.5 amp vacuum cleans deeply.
One of Eureka's innovations is the Riser Visor, a clear plastic cover that stays down for cleaning horizontal surfaces and flips up so the revolving brush can reach the vertical carpet on stair risers. There's no bag to change, just a filter and clear plastic dust cup to shake out when necessary. --Ann Bieri

- Surprisingly Impressed!
My husband wanted to get this little hand vacuum because our fluffy siberian cat leaves a lot of fur on the steps, and it's hard to drag the big vacuum up and down the stairs. Well, I read all the excellent reviews and was pretty sure it had to be a good product. The only thing that made me kind of skeptical was the fact that I couldn't seem to find this product in ANY store except Amazon.
Well, this hand vacuum is much better than our Dyson! The sucking action is beyond impressive. ... Read More

I have purchased just about every stair vacuum out there, and none of them worked! This one does!It is the most powerful stair vacuum I have ever used.It picks up dirt, dust, pet hair...you name it.This is worth the money.

- The Cleaning Lady liked it.
I have used the vacuum very little. Mostly to suck the air out of the Space Bags. It is surprisingly powerful. But the best review that I can give is to say that the cleaning lady likes it. The stairs look better than ever.
Rating:
- By far the best vacuum out there--if you can stand the racket
Absolutely phenomenal.
Positives
1) unparalleled suction
--even sucks up pebbles, pine needles, wood chips, etc. deep in crevices
2) gets right into corners
3) the roller keeps going hard even when hair or threads get wrapped around it(and they're easy to remove)
4) the cord's nice and long--don't usually need extension
5) super easy to handle
Only potential negatives:
1) it's the loudest vacuum around
2) it's a bit heavy for ... Read More

- Extremely Powerful
When looking for a handheld vac my first goal was to find a poweful cordless model, but after looking over all of the reviews (including Dyson) it became clear quickly that a corded model would be better in the end if you don't want to deal with replacing dead batteries that won't charge.
I have a microfiber couch and it's hell to clean. This vacuum, however, does an amazing job.I no longer feel like I need to shave my cat so he won't shed on it.Unlike my floor vacuum, when using ... Read More
