Like I said in my previous review, I used to think they (BALANCE) REALLY had the market wrapped up in the flavor department, on those Gold Caramel bars that kind of tasted like a snickers bar, then I read the reviews for these & decided to give them a try as I was kind of getting tired of the same bars ( I bought 10 cases of thegold caramel ones, as I have 7 kids & IF I hoped to have a few when I wanted them I had to buy "extra" to share, when they did the puppy dog eyes at me as I nibbled my ... I've been eating Balance Bare Trail Mix Chocolate Chip bars for breakfast at least five years now. I have to eat a lot of protein and avoid fat and calories. These are perfect. They taste great and I don't think they're too sweet. I like the texture. I have tried most of the protein bars and think they are dense, unpalatable and leave an aftertaste. There are a few exceptions, like Power Bar Crisp bars,and I like Clif bars but they are real heavy and don't have enough protein.IMHO, nothing compares ... Read More

I've tried most of the bars out there in an attempt to find something that actually tastes good while delivering quality nutrition - these are my favorite.Very high in (whey) protein, dietary fiber, and taste like food rather than like astronaut nutrition pods.We give these to our kids as treats sometimes, which says a lot since they usually hate anything that's not pizza or ice cream.
