The ADVC-55 was simple to use and produced beautiful digital video clips from my old analog High 8 and VHS tapes.
Rating: - High Marks fro the ADVC-55 A/D Converter
The ADVC55 was easy to use and did exactly what I expected it to.I was able to transfer VHS tapes to a Digital format on my Mac.I was surprised how much memory was required for the analog to digital transfer process, though that was alleviated with the purchase of a new external storage drive.
Rating: - Great simple converter
Has worked flawlessly with Power Mac.Plug and play.Video output looks great, much better than running it through video camera or DVD recorder like we used to do and saves a lot of time in the process.Few settings to worry about and no real adjustments to make.It just works.
